Realmont is a thriving market town with any number of shops, including 5 boulangeries and a supermarket. The Town House is 70 paces from the central cafe on the square and 90 from the nearest boulangerie and from the cave à vins (where the singing wine man turns a melodic euro). Realmont's Wednesday morning market is possibly the biggest and best in the region.
